Extending from Konya, Turkey's production base, to the world, Küçük Group achieved a considerable success in terms of production and turnover with the new factory it moved into last year. “Our production capacity has increased by 40 percent compared to the previous year, and our year-end turnover by 90 percent,” said Devrim Kılıç, General Manager of Küçük Group.

NEWS ELEVATOR (KONYA) — Extending from Konya, Turkey's production base, to the world, Küçük Group achieved a considerable success in terms of production and turnover with the new factory it moved into last year. “Our production capacity has increased by 40 percent compared to the previous year, and our year-end turnover by 90 percent,” said Devrim Kılıç, General Manager of Küçük Group.

Reminding that they moved to their new factories a year ago in the face of increasing population and developing technology, Kılıç said, “We are continuing our activities in order to increase our export volume, which provides the biggest contribution to the country's economy, and the need to expand our machinery with new product developments, new machine investments and modernizations in our existing machines. We moved it to our new factory building with an area of ​​25 thousand m2 in the region.

Underlining that the production line has turned into a modern integrated facility with the commissioning of new investments, Kılıç said that after the investments made in the machinery, there has been an increase in the employment of blue and white collar personnel, which has a positive effect on the increase in production capacity.

DOUBLE SHIFT PRODUCTION

Emphasizing that the visits to the target markets at home and abroad had positive effects, Kılıç said that they started the double-shift system in order to meet the intense demand. “Our production capacity increased by 40 percent compared to the previous year, and our year-end turnover increased by 90 percent,” Kılıç said.

CAPACITY INCREASED IN THE MACHINERY

Stating that they produce cables, elevator doors, hydraulic buffers, rope bottles, balance chains and photocells under the Elitpro brand within the Küçük Group, Kılıç drew attention to their investments focused on increasing capacity and efficiency in the machinery.

Kılıç said:

“In this context, we increased our cable production line, which was initially 8, to 12. On the existing lines, we increased efficiency and capacity with the automation investments we made. We increased the number of industrial robots from 2 to 4 with the purchase of spotting and welding robots. In addition to these, we increased the number of existing coding machines, guillotine shears, eccentric presses, un-coilers and moulds by making additional purchases. In line with the changing technology and industry demands, our efforts to increase the variety of our existing products and new products continue.”

Kılıç said, “Today, businesses face a very different competitive arena” and pointed out that companies have started to implement different marketing strategies.

“As Küçük group; we believe that the concept of value created for the customer is one of the most important elements in providing competitive advantage. As a company, we want to combine the traditional marketing approach with the value-based marketing approach. It is both to contact new customers and add them to the portfolio and to deepen the product diversity of our existing customers. In this way, the increase in the market share as well as the increase in the customer share is important for us.”

EXPORT TO MORE THAN 40 COUNTRIES

Kılıç said:

“Without compromising the quality concept, we brought our products produced in our factory to more than 40 countries, especially the Middle East, Europe, the Balkans and the Turkic Republics. We aim to deepen our relations with both our existing and new customers, and establish long-term relationships and make the trade sustainable.”

“Our company, which aims to add new countries and customers to its portfolio, has received the EAC certificate for the Russian Region and has taken the necessary steps to enter new markets. Our aim is to bring our export volume, which is 25 percent in turnover, to 50 percent, and we are making our investments in this direction.”

Stating that they are one of the dominoes of the sector with their innovation and R&D studies, Kılıç said that they aim to contribute to the country's economy continuously by producing without compromising product quality, sales and after-sales support policy. Kılıç said, “In 2021, we increased our turnover by 90 percent and our export volume by 100 percent compared to the previous year. We aim to increase the share of exports in turnover over 50 percent in the next 5 years and to be among Turkey's top 500 industrial enterprises.

WE JOINED THE GREEN TRANSFORMATION MOVEMENT WITH ROOFTOP SPP

Providing information about their new investments, Kılıç also announced that they participated in the green transformation movement. He said that the roof SPP investment, which is among the targets for 2022, and the 1 MW capacity project investment are planned to be operational in April 2022. “With this project, we will be able to meet all of the electricity consumption we need in our facility and at the same time we will be able to save the consumption surplus,” he said.

Emphasizing that competition has increased as a result of globalization and technological developments, Kılıç said;

“It has emerged that the efforts to ensure that the product is permanent in the market and to promote it should be manufactured more carefully and meticulously with a professional method. Accordingly, we participated in the Elevator Istanbul Fair, which was held for the 17th time between 10 and 13 March 2022. Our stand attracted a lot of attention this year, as it does every year.
