GREEN TRANSFORMATION CONTRIBUTION TO EFELİFT; ELECTRICITY SALES OF 390 THOUSAND KW WERE REALIZED THROUGH THE ROOF-TOP SPP

the fact that more than 80 percent of the world's energy needs are met by fossil resources and the damage caused by carbon emissions to the environment continues to threaten the future of humanity. Sustainable energy investments initiated at the global level started to appear themselves in every sector like the butterfly effect.

Increasing demand for renewable energy investments has also stimulated the elevator industry. Efelift Elevators, which prefers the solar power generation model, produced a total of 595 thousand MW of electricity in 2021. It also sold 1/4 of the electricity it produced to the grid.

Abidin Güler, General Manager of Efelift Elevator, said that they follow innovative technology and gave information about the SPP investment process. Güler said, “We have implemented our solar energy panels by fully using our equity resources in order to reduce our dependence on foreign sources and to add strength to our strength.”

NO ADDITIONAL COSTS OTHER THAN INSTALLATION

Explaining that they allocated a total of 230 thousand 509 dollars for the rooftop solar power plant installation, Güler pointed out the importance of investments in renewable energy resources. Güler said:

“These investments will make great contributions to both our company and our environment. We will contribute to the reduction of carbon footprint with our rooftop SPP project. We generate free electricity by using solar energy free of charge from the moment of installation on rooftop SPP models. No additional costs other than installation. We do not harm eco-systems as in fossil fuel consumption. We generate our own electricity by utilizing the direct and harmless sun, and we meet our investment by selling the excess electricity produced to the networks around us.”

390 THOUSAND KW/H ELECTRICITY SOLD TO THE GRID

Stating that they turned to natural resources thanks to the SPP installation, Güler said that they produced 595 thousand 19 MW/H electricity in 2021; he said that 1/4 of it is used in its own facilities and 3/4 of it is sold to the grid. Noting that they sold 390 thousand kWh of electricity to the grid last year, Güler stated that many data in economy and trade are based on financial information and that investment in energy resources is of commercial importance in Turkey as well as in the world. Drawing attention to the European Green Agreement, Güler continued his words as follows:

“You know that one of the most important factors in our trade between countries is natural factors, it is very important commercially to take the quality of life one step further. Thanks to the European Green Deal, it is aimed to decarbonize the energy sector, invest in environmentally friendly technologies, encourage innovation in production, and end its dependence on resource use. As Efelift Elevator Company, we are working to adopt the Green Deal vision and integrate it into all our fields of activity.”

WE HAVE INCREASED DIVERSITY IN SYSTEMS FOR THE DISABLED

Reminding that Efelift Elevator started operating in Kayseri in 2013, Güler explained that they focused on improving the open spaces encountered in the sector by bringing them together with better manufacturing techniques. Stating that the necessary importance is not given to accessibility, Güler said that they started production in Turkey by increasing the diversity of systems for the disabled. “Today, our platforms for the disabled serve users at home and abroad. We achieved worldwide awareness with our VINI brand on the platforms for the disabled”.

Güler noted that they have a production capacity of one thousand units per year in the production of systems for the disabled, and underlined that they also manufacture modular elevator shafts and dining elevators.

COUNTDOWN FOR NEW PRODUCTS

Drawing attention to new R&D studies, Güler pointed to the targets for 2022. Güler said, “It will be a very special product that requires less space in smaller dimensions. It will be a first in Turkey. There are similar ones in the world, but it will be a special product in its class. Our R&D studies are still continuing. We will go out to promote the product once it goes into mass production”.

Noting that 60 percent of the production is sold abroad and 40 percent within the country, Güler said for the increase in the number of manufacturers for disabled platforms; “We aim to maintain our presence in the market by doing the best in our field. Of course, there will be other colleagues besides us. We are working to stay at the top by regularly renewing ourselves and our products.”

Pointing out that sustainable growth comes from R&D activities in today's conditions, Güler emphasized that they have accelerated their work with the aim of producing products that have not been produced in Turkey before. Güler announced that innovative devices and circular door opening motor technology, including motherboards, will be introduced to the market as soon as possible; “We are continuing a special study for smaller areas among our new R&D projects,” he said.

Stating that they have a wide demand in the import and export marketing network, Güler said that they aim to open up to wider markets. Noting that their products attract great attention in European and Far Eastern countries, Güler said, "We have an extremely important place in the foreign market due to customer satisfaction, easy installation and fast transportation."
