Leading elevator companies from various countries of the world interlift Fair was held in Augsburg, Germany between 26-29 April 2022. The fair, where new technologies were exhibited and international commercial agreements and collaborations were realized, received full marks from the participants.

11,800 VISITORS FROM 87 COUNTRIES ATTENDED
Interlift Fair enabled 11,800 visitors from 87 countries to meet with elevator technologies. He brought together the components of the industry with the seminar held at the VFA Forum for four days.
At the VFA-Forum, which was held simultaneously with the Interlift Fair, the presentations of the participants took place.
53 EXHIBITORS FROM TURKEY OPENED STOPS
The great interest of Turkey to the fair drew attention. Participating in the previous Interlift Fair with 58 companies, Turkey took its place to welcome its visitors with 53 companies this year.
INTERLIFT 2022 RESULT REPORT
The following statements were included in the interlift 2022 result report:
Augsburg – YES! If there were any doubts about the organization of Interlift, this very special show of Interlift, Interlift 2022, finally cleared the doubts. Being the first major event of the industry, the fair brought the international elevator family together for the first time after two and a half years. And it probably exceeded the expectations of everyone involved. The survey conducted by the Gelszus Trade Fair Market Research also clearly shows how important it is for exhibitors and visitors to be in Augsburg. Despite the difficult general conditions, 11,800 trade visitors from 87 countries came to Augsburg to learn about innovations and trends in the elevator industry. And the thoughts of those who came were clearly positive. This also applies to the evaluation of 350 participants.
THE RATE OF TOP DECISION MAKERS CONTINUES TO REMAIN HIGH
The professional quality and decision-making competence of the visitors have been one of the most important factors in Interlift's success from the very beginning. This hasn't changed in 2022 either: 68 percent of visitors are decisive or co-decision-making in their purchasing decisions! An additional 17 percent of visitors participate in investments, at least in terms of consultancy. Almost one out of every two visitors comes to prepare the infrastructure of an investment or to sign, of which 30 percent have already signed agreements at the fair. 71 percent of visitors contacted exhibitors after the Interlift, which could lead to deals. Finally; 57 percent visit Interlift only to learn about the latest developments in the elevator industry.
POSITIVE OUTLOOK FOR THE INDUSTRY
A perhaps somewhat surprising result of the survey: The majority are more optimistic about the future development of the elevator industry than in 2019. 67 percent of visitors expect strong or slightly increased development over the next few years – compared to "only" 62 percent in 2019. A quarter (24 percent) assume that economic development will remain stable, 9 percent expect a slight weakening and 1 percent expect a strong weakening.
EXHIBITORS: WE WILL BE BACK IN 2023!
The majority of the 350 participating elevator companies were also happy to be in Augsburg. Business capacity was good for most of the companies. Three out of four participants reported very satisfied or satisfied.
Expectations for post-fair business are also high: 78 percent expect "very good", "good" or "satisfactory" work. It's not surprising, then, that 85 percent say they will attend Interlift 2023 - only 3 percent don't plan to do so.
REBOOKING: APPROXIMATELY 200 PARTICIPANTS HAVE RESERVED FOR INTERLIFT 2023
Interlift Project Manager Joachim Kalsdorf said: "The new booking change campaign was a huge success!" said. "Nearly 200 companies have already booked participation for Interlift 2023, including Wittur, Orona, Meiller and Schmersal. And none of them expected such a large number of visitors. Two Italian associations ANICA and ANACAM will also be there. Currently, 1,500 square meters There will be an important participation from the already separated China”.

The VFA Forum, which was held concurrently with the Interlift Fair, was greeted with interest by the visitors. Liftinstituut Eurasia Regional Manager Süleyman Özcan, who attended the VFA Forum as a speaker from Turkey, also informed the participants with his presentation on "The Elevator Industry in Turkey: Capacities and Opportunities at a Glance".
