CLOUD BASED UPS TECHNOLOGY FROM BRM ELECTRONICS

Adding a new product to its product portfolio, BRM Electronics is preparing to put a 5-battery UPS system up for sale.

BRM Electronics introduced its cloud-based UPS system, of which it is preparing to start mass production, at the Elevator Istanbul Fair. Nurullah Pireci, General Manager of BRM Electronics, explained the details of the UPS system.

DOMESTIC TECHNOLOGY IS BEING CONFIGURED

Underlining that they carried out R&D work that lasted for about a year, Pireci said that by identifying the deficiencies in the field, they developed a UPS system compatible with the latest technology. Pireci explained that with the new cloud-based UPS system, instant problems of the UPSs in the elevators installed can be detected and it provides the opportunity to intervene in a short time.

Stating that the rescue system was developed based on the complaints in the field, Pireci said, “The most important thing here was that the batteries of the UPSs were going flat and the devices were not working. We have positioned and configured the device just as accordingly.”

DESIGN AND R&D OWNED BY BRM

Pointing out that 90 percent of UPSs are imported and that they are not produced specifically for the elevators, Pireci said:

“Our rescue system, whose design and R&D is completely carried out by BRM, was developed specifically for the elevator. We have organized a system that will meet the needs of the sector and measure the performance of the products in the field. Moreover, we have made the UPS recovery system a domestic product.”

Stating that it is possible to detect the malfunctions that may occur in the elevator and rescue systems over BRM CLOUD and BRM ABOT, Pireci said, "We trust our product very much and we believe it will obtain a footing in good places."

TARGET IS TO TRIPLE SALES

Pireci said that they aim for the cloud-based UPS system to reach sales figures of 6 thousand in 2022 and 20 thousand and above in 2023. Pireci said, “We plan our sales to be mainly domestic in the first year. However, we anticipate making nearly half of the sales figure, which we aim to triple next year, abroad. Thus, we will have increased our market share in the market to the level of 25 percent.”

PREPARATION FOR OVERSEAS BRANCHES BY BRM

Stating that they have created a sales network throughout Turkey, Pireci announced that preparations for opening a representative office in İzmir have started in the past months and preparations for Istanbul have also been made in the first half of 2022.

Pireci said, "We aim to be the ‘brains of elevator-makers’ with the products and software we have developed," and said that they plan to open branches abroad in 2023.

ATTACK IS EXPECTED IN EXPORT

Noting that BRM products are indirectly exported to many countries, Pireci announced their export targets for 2022. Pireci said:

“Currently, we have direct exports to four countries, namely Germany, England, Lithuania and Tunisia. With our indirect exports, our products reach many parts of the world from Pakistan to Chile. As BRM, it is one of our priorities to increase the number of countries we directly export to in 2022. This year, we aim to export directly to approximately 20 countries.”

“OUR COMPETITORS ARE NOT BETTER THAN US, WE ARE ON EQUAL TERMS”

Underlining that they aim to be a global brand in their product development, Pireci said that they aim for the BRM brand to become widespread in the world. Pireci said, “We can offer all the advantages in terms of software and hardware provided by our competitors in the world. We are able to offer even more with the BRM ABOT system. There is no difference between us and our competitors; they are not ahead of us, we are on equal terms.”

"TARGET: FULL CONTROL”

Pireci underlined that, “they act with the mission of “Target: full control”. “We aimed to organize and install systems that will facilitate the work of the companies we do business with, take them forward, monitor the elevators online, and ensure that the people trapped in the elevators being safely rescued in case of an emergency. We are taking firm steps forward on this path,” he said.

BRM's STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT PROCESS

Pireci talked about the development adventure of BRM Electronics, which has never lost its upward trend since its establishment in 2018. Underlining that their first goal is to meet the need, Pireci said that competitors providing global service are closely followed. “We shaped our plans by analysing what our competitors are missing and what else needs to be added to the product. Even in our previous version devices, many features are ready in terms of hardware, we just add software developments on top of it, making it a system that will meet all needs.”

“WE WILL BE A GLOBAL PLAYER”

Pireci announced their goals for the next five years. Pireci stated that one of their primary goals is to become a player in the global market for BRM Electronics and continued his words as follows:

“We aim to make BRM a global brand with our production capacity and our R&D studies, in communication systems and with other products we will continue to make. We will support this with the software we develop. In the next five years, BRM will prove its brand value and reliability to the world market.”

TFT DISPLAYS FROM 7 INCH TO 21 INCH ARE READY

Nurullah Pireci, General Manager of BRM Electronics, announced that the TFT screen models used in in-cab push buttons have come to an end; he indicated the date for 7-inch and 15-inch TFT screens. Reminding that the 10-inch TFT screen model was put on sale in March, Pireci said that the mass production of 7-inch and 15-inch TFT screen models has already started and will be available for sale in May. “It is extremely important for us that the TFT screens in the market can still be controlled via BRM CLOUD and BRM ABOT. At the same time, we offer the possibility of personalisation in the product. Users will be able to remotely change and customise information such as pictures, music, advertisements, publications and announcements. The important thing for us was that our product was of good quality and that it could meet the needs. I must say that we have succeeded in that," he said.
